Greetings and Message from the President of the Republic of the Philippines on MFSMI First Year Anniversary

My warmest greetings to the Marinduque First Saturday Movers, Inc. as you celebrate President Benigno Aquinoyour 1st Anniversary as a duly registered non-profit corporation and as you hold the induction of your new officers. Congratulations on this twofold milestone. I wish for fortitude for your organization.

I trust that The Movers remain committed to being active partners for progress in Marinduque and consequently, our country. May you continue to develop effective programs that move the nation in the spirit of communal responsibility, social justice and poverty alleviation. Our administration relishes that chance to work with you in the spirit of service to the public.

We are thankful to have our countrymen alongside us as we tread the straight and righteous path towards change, social justice and poverty alleviation through good governance. Your anniversary and the induction of your new set of officers remind us that we are not alone. The Filipino people stand in solidarity beneath the banner of change and reform.

The Movers are once again turning a new page. This offers an opportunity to look back at past accomplishments and honor the milestones that the outgoing leaders have achieved.

Likewise, this is also a time to look forward to the promise that new leaders offer. I am optimistic they will remain steadfast to their sworn duties and steer the organization to a more prosperous future.

Marinduque is fortunate for having citizens like you who are dedicated to look after its welfare. I am certain you will continue to come up with strategies and programs that would contribute to the sustainable development and progress of your province.

As you continue with your work for your communities, I pray that your hearts be always ablaze with the passion to serve the people. May the Almighty bless you with success in the years to come.

After more than a year closely networking with several government agencies, private Recaredo Sarmiento_Boarderindividuals and organizations, the Movers is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. On this note and on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Officers and Members of the Marinduque First Saturday Movers, Inc. let me welcome you to this official website of our club. Furthermore, let me express our profound thanks to our partners and stakeholders in joining us in the quest for a better life for the Marinduquenos.

As we continue the journey towards a progressive and empowered community of Marinduquenos, let us not only endeavor to discover new landscapes but also seek to have new eyes so that we can clearly see our vision through. This we can easily realize, working together as one, because the overall strength of Movers with its partners and stakeholders will always be more than the sum of individual efforts of the different players. Our collective comparative advantage will emerge not just from our individual assets but from the effective and efficient manner are organized and interact among ourselves. With this synergistic force-multiplier and a working private-public partnership, there is no way we could fail.
